DNUI Adds a New Major in Intelligent Interaction Design
Release time:2026-05-28

Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the 2025 filing and approval process for undergraduate majors at regular institutions of higher education. The university's proposed major in Intelligent Interaction Design (080218T) was approved for establishment.

The State Council issued the “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan”,which for the first time lists “intelligent interaction” as one of the core technologies requiring key development at the national strategic level in terms of developing emerging AI industries, marking the official entry of this field into the national strategic vision. Currently, artificial intelligence technologies represented by AIGC and large language models are profoundly reshaping human-computer interaction methods. Industry demand for "technology-design" interdisciplinary talents is surging, while the domestic talent supply-demand imbalance in the field of intelligent interaction design remains severe.

The university’s Intelligent Interaction Design major breaks through traditional design boundaries, building a “Design-Technology-User-Data” four-in-one talent cultivation system based on real-world scenarios such as intelligent vehicles, intelligent cockpits, smart healthcare, smart wearables, digital cultural tourism, and AI applications. The curriculum aligns with digital industry and smart product development processes, strengthening authentic task training, interdisciplinary interaction design, and human-computer interaction capabilities. It builds a complete capability system from needs insight, interaction design, prototype development, to product validation, cultivating students to become high-quality applied talents in the field of intelligent interaction design who are “proficient in design, skilled in technology, understanding of customers, and capable in AI.”
