Fauzi noted that Dalian Neusoft University of Information's integration of industry and education in fields like IT and health technology, and the quality of its application-oriented talent cultivation, are very effective. He emphasized that the value of scientific research lies in its application, and the membrane materials and technologies he has been developing also hold great application potential in medical fields such as hemodialysis. He looks forward to future in-depth collaboration leveraging Neusoft's unique "Education-Healthcare-Eldercare" industry-academia-research ecosystem.
Fauzi is an expert on the Malaysian Government Policy Advisory Committee, the founding Director of the National Advanced Membrane Technology Research Centre in Malaysia, and has received over 200 national and international awards. His research focuses on developing polymer, inorganic, and hybrid-based membranes for seawater desalination, wastewater treatment, gas separation processes, membranes for fuel cell applications, palm oil refining, hemodialysis membranes, and smart optical fibers for tracking oil flow migration. Following his appointment as an Honorary Professor at DNUI, he will provide guidance and support to our faculty and students in various areas including education and teaching, scientific research, and international cooperation.
