Release time:2025-11-11

Recently, Vice Chairman Yuki Akiyama and Vice President Ken Miyagawa of Kawasaki Medical Welfare University visited our university. This visit is a crucial step in promoting cooperation between the two universities to a wider, deeper, and higher level, based on the existing friendly exchanges. Our school president Guo Quan met with a delegation from Kawasaki Medical Welfare University, accompanied by Vice President Zhang Wan and relevant department and college leaders.

At the symposium, Guo Quan warmly welcomed the delegation. He pointed out that Dalian Neusoft University of Information and Kawasaki Medical Welfare University share the same vision and mission in promoting the development of medical health and wellness. He hopes that in the future, both sides will actively carry out two-way exchanges between students from the two schools, continue to carry out teacher training and curriculum construction in the fields of elderly welfare and medical data science, strengthen academic exchange and cooperation, and industry education docking, and jointly explore the construction of experimental training environments and talent training standards.

Yuki Akiyama highly praised our school’s distinctive educational characteristics and achievements in cultivating applied talents in the field of "IT+digital media+health and medical technology" based on the strong industrial background of Neusoft. He stated that the two schools have strong complementary resources and enormous potential for cooperation. We are willing to take this exchange as a new starting point to jointly promote the implementation of substantive cooperation projects and contribute to the medical and nursing education industry.

During the visit, the delegation visited our university’s College Student Entrepreneurship Center, laboratory, affiliated cardiovascular disease hospital, as well as Ruikang Nursing Home and Neusoft Phoenix College. They highly praised our university’s advanced teaching conditions and profound integration of industry and education. In addition, the delegation also inspected the medical related industrial parks of Neusoft, gaining a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of our school's educational model that closely relies on Neusoft’s integrated strategy of “education, medicine, and elderly care”.
