Recently, the 2025 National Conference on Artificial Intelligence Education in Universities (AIEC2025) was held in Xi’an. The Institute of Artificial Intelligence and the Institute of Intelligence and Electronic Engineering of our university were awarded the member units of the "China Association of Artificial Intelligence Education", and Zheng Nanning, chairman of the China Association of Artificial Intelligence Education and academician of the CAE Member, was awarded the license plate for the representatives of the new member units. This important honor marks the high recognition of our university’s exploration and practice in the field of artificial intelligence education by authoritative academic organizations in China, and opens a new chapter for the reform of our university's artificial intelligence education.

This conference is jointly organized by the Teaching Guidance Committee for Computer Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Society of Automation, the China Association for Artificial Intelligence Education, and other units. It is hosted by Xi’an Jiaotong University and brings together experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from hundreds of universities across the country. The conference focuses on the two-way integration of AI enabled education and AI enabled education, and jointly discusses the plan for talent cultivation in the era of intelligence.

In recent years, our school has attached great importance to the development of artificial intelligence disciplines, continuously deepened the construction of artificial intelligence related majors, actively promoted the cross integration of “artificial intelligence +”, and achieved significant results in curriculum system reform, teaching case research and development, and industry education collaborative education. This selection not only fully affirms the preliminary work of our school, but also injects strong impetus into deepening the reform of artificial intelligence education and teaching, and improving the quality of talent cultivation in the future.
