National Live Finals of the 13th China College Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition was held in Harbin from October 24th to 26th. Our students competed fiercely with students from over 400 universities, including Shandong University and Harbin Institute of Technology. A total of 115 works won awards in the competition, including 12 first prizes, 16 second prizes, and 87 third prizes.

China College Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition is an important event selected for the "China Regular Higher Education Institutions College Students Competition List". This competition is hosted by the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence and the Organizing Committee of the China College Student Digital Media Technology Works and Creativity Competition, and jointly organized by 45 universities including Harbin Institute of Technology and Communication University of China.

In preparation for this national competition, our school has launched the "Key Project Innovation Cultivation Plan", formed a "Key Project Mentor Team", conducted multiple rounds of project selection, special training, and simulated defense, focusing on the three dimensions of "technical implementation power", "creative expression power", and "roadshow performance power", systematically polishing the shortlisted projects, and promoting continuous optimization of works in terms of content depth, technical integration, and user experience. From the topic selection stage, the guiding teacher pays attention to combining national strategies and industry needs, encouraging students to focus on cutting-edge directions such as "technology empowering cultural inheritance", "AIGC innovative application", and "metaverse scene construction", and providing full process and modular guidance in prototype development, interaction design, visual expression, and other aspects.
