The campus was adorned with colorful flags under the morning sun, and passion ignited the sports field. On May 13th, Dalian Neusoft University of Information held its 17th Sports Meet at the Sports Ground of the Software Park Campus Phase III. University leaders, faculty, and students gathered together to celebrate youth through sports, writing a chapter of the era with a spirit of perseverance. The event was presided over by Li Wei, Director of the Student Affairs Office.

Spectacular Opening Ceremony

Amid the stirring melody of the Athlete’ March, the national flag team, university flag team, bouquet team, colored flag team, referee team, and various faculty and student delegations marched in formation, showcasing their unity, spirited slogans, and creative displays as they passed the rostrum. Their determined strides embodied the vigor of Neusoft members, while their boundless enthusiasm reflected the enduring spirit of progress.

President Guo Quan declared, “The 17th Sports Meet of Dalian Neusoft University of Information is now open!” Cannons boomed, and colored flags fluttered in the wind.

The national flag guard team marched with solemnity and grandeur as the Five-Starred Red Flag waved proudly. The entire audience stood in unison, singing the national anthem.

Shen Hua, Vice President and Deputy Director of the University Sports Committee, delivered the opening speech. He emphasized that the Sports Meet was not only a comprehensive review of the university’s physical education but also a collective showcase of the spirit and character of its faculty and students.

During the opening ceremony, the Higher Vocational College and the Basic Education College jointly presented a large-scale group calisthenics performance titled Everlasting Wind, Unyielding Progress, while the University Art Troupe performed Splendid Youth, Graceful Dance.

Thrilling Competitions

On the field, athletes sprinted, leaped, and dashed forward. The battles of milliseconds demonstrated speed, and the contests of victory and defeat embodied sportsmanship, reflecting the Neusoft spirit of striving for glory through sweat and winning cheers through perseverance. In addition to the intense competitive events, the fun-filled games added laughter and excitement.

The referee team upheld principles of rigor and professionalism, ensuring fairness on the field so that every athlete’s dedication was respected.
