On May 18th, the national finals of the 12th National University Electrical and Electronic Basic Courses Experimental Teaching Case Design Competition (Dingyang Cup) were held at Harbin Engineering University. Our university's faculty team competed with teams from 88 universities including Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Xidian University, Zhejiang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and finally won 1 national first prize and 2 national third prizes. Among them, the experimental teaching case "Electromagnetic Measurement Experiment of Antenna Pattern" by Zhang Cai, a teacher from the School of Intelligent and Electronic Engineering, which had won the 2024-2025 university-level excellent experimental teaching case, won the first prize in this national competition after polishing and optimization. This is also the second time that our university has won the first prize in this national competition.

This year's "Dingyang Cup" case competition was officially launched in March, attracting university teachers from 29 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions across the country. The selection was conducted in 5 divisions, North China, Northern, Western, Central South and East China, and each division was independently evaluated by an expert review team. In the Northern Division competition, 8 teacher teams from our university won awards (see the table below for details). Among them, 3 experimental teaching cases won the first prize and advanced to the national finals with excellent project design schemes and innovative teaching design concepts.
