The domestic final of the Integrated Circuit ATE Testing Technology event of the 2024-2025 Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition was held in Nanjing from April 8 to 10. The microelectronics engineering team from the School of Intelligence and Electronic Engineering won one national second prize and one third prize at the national level. The school also received the Outstanding Organization Award.
A total of over 30 domestic undergraduate and vocational colleges participated in the competition.

The BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition (shortened as the "BRICS Competition") is an international competition recognized by the BRICS Summit preparatory committee in 2017, filed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, and approved by the BRICS Business Council. The integrated circuit manufacturing event follows the latest development trends in integrated circuit manufacturing technology and focuses on the typical tasks of integrated circuit manufacturing positions. The competition tasks are designed in accordance with the national vocational skill standards for semiconductor chip manufacturing workers and semiconductor component and integrated circuit assembly and debugging workers. The competition focuses on assessing students’ comprehensive skills in integrated circuit manufacturing processes, process parameter design, factory production operation, and equipment operation.
