On March 23rd, the China-ASEAN Center and the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia jointly held the China-ASEAN (Malaysia) Higher Education Forum in Kuala Lumpur. Attending the event were Deputy Minister of Higher Education Dato Mustapa, Deputy Minister of Education Huang Jiahe, Secretary-General Shi Zhongjun of the China-ASEAN Center, Ambassador Ouyang Yujing of China to Malaysia, Deputy Director Hu Zhiping of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Chinese Ministry of Education, and others. Dalian Neusoft University of Information was invited by the China-ASEAN Center as the only representative of Chinese private universities to attend the forum. Vice President Zhang Wan represented the school and made a report at the forum, sharing the school’s efforts and accumulated experience in improving talent cultivation quality through the empowerment of digital technology in education and teaching.
This forum is an official event held by the two countries to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. It aims to promote in-depth cooperation and exchange in the field of higher education between China and Malaysia, jointly explore educational innovation, and promote talent cultivation.
Zhang Wan introduced the advantages and achievements of Neusoft in the industry and education, and shared with the representatives of Chinese and Malaysian universities the smart campus and smart education system independently designed, developed, and constructed by Neusoft. She expressed that Dalian Neusoft University of Information is very willing to share its experience and achievements in digitalization and smart education empowerment with Malaysian universities, and sincerely invites Malaysian universities to visit and exchange with the school.
The speech of our school at the forum aroused great interest among the participants and received widespread praise. During the forum, representatives of the governments, universities, and enterprises of China and Malaysia also exchanged and discussed on topics such as the higher education system, quality assurance, language education and student services, and artificial intelligence and higher education. In addition, the forum also held an exhibition to showcase the development achievements and characteristic projects of higher education in China and Malaysia.
