Flinders University of Australia Visits Our University for Exchange

On April 9, a delegation of four members from Flinders University of Australia—including Peter Monteath, Executive Dean of the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and Bill Damachis, Director of International Cooperation—along with Jin Zhe, General Manager of World Education, visited our university.  

  

President Guo Quan held in-depth discussions with the delegation. The delegation highly praised our achievements in industry-education integration, international collaboration, and student innovation and entrepreneurship. They expressed hope that Flinders students could engage in joint innovative projects at Dalian Neusoft University of Information and welcomed Neusoft students to study and intern in Australia. Guo Quan stated that both universities share synergies in IT, digital arts, and health technology, as well as innovative educational philosophies and industry-academia integration. He expressed strong willingness to establish long-term, in-depth cooperation with Flinders University.  

 

Vice President Zhang Wan hosted the delegation. Both sides held productive discussions on long-term collaboration in education, academic exchange, and faculty development. The delegation visited the SOVO (Students Office and Venture Office, namely, Student Entrepreneurship Center,) laboratories, and the School of Digital Arts and Design, and held talks with the Computer and Software School team.
