On December 5th, Japan’s Hokuriku University Chairman and President Ogura Tsutomu, Director Ohsan Kazuo, and Director of the Confucius Institute at Hokuriku University Zhou Qing visited our university. President Guo Quan and Vice President Zhang Wan of our school met with the visiting guests, accompanied by Zhang Tingting, Vice President of the School of International Education, and Liu Jingbo from the Japan Business Department.

President Ogura Tsutomu and his delegation visited our school’s Bochuan Campus, Ruikang Cardiovascular Hospital, Ruikang Zhuomei Stomatology Hospital and the Laboratory of the School of Health Care Technology, and learned about the development and changes of our school in recent years, especially the measures and future development direction for the training of health care talents and the cooperation between industry and university.

President Guo Quan extended a warm welcome to President Ogura Tsutomu and his delegation. He said that our university and Hokuriku University have carried out cooperation in 2 + 2 undergraduate joint training, short-term exchange learning, and teaching and scientific research exchanges since 2013. By integrating respective advantages, characteristics and personnel training experience, both sides have achieved fruitful results in many aspects. It is hoped that on this basis, we will further deepen our understanding of each other, expand the areas of international cooperation, and push our cooperation to a new level and achieve new breakthroughs.

President Ogura Tsutomu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of our school. He said that the two universities have established a profound friendship and hoped to further deepen cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in the future and jointly promote the diversified development of international cooperation.
The two sides jointly renewed the cooperation agreement on the joint training project between Dalian Neusoft University of Information and Hokuriku University.

Founded in 1975, Hokuriku University is a well-known private comprehensive university in the area along the Sea of Japan. It has two faculties, the “School of Future Learning” and the “Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences”, with 3 departments, 10 specialized directions (majors) and 1 other short-term course. Among them, pharmacy-related majors and their academic strength have a high reputation in Japan. Our university and Hokuriku University established a friendly cooperative relationship in 2013. More than 20 students have been sent to Hokuriku University to study so far.
