From November 24 to 26, the 2023 Seventh the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Innovation Competition – Digital New Arts and Sciences Big Data Thinking and Skills Competition was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. After fierce competition, Li Kaili and Wang Qian, teachers from the Department of Information and Big Data from the School of Information and Business Management of our university, stood out from 48 final teams in the teaching group and won the second prize. Our university was awarded the Excellent Organization Award.

the Seventh the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and
Technological Innovation Competition was hosted by the Chinese Council
of the BRICS Business Council, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills
Development International Alliance, the Belt and Road and BRICS Skills
Development and Technological Innovation Training Center, co-sponsored
by the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange,
Ministry of Education, and undertaken by the BRICS Business Council
(Chinese) Skills Development Working Group. This competition has
gathered nearly a thousand teams from various higher education
institutions across the country, covering the teachers group,
undergraduates group, and vocational group. A total of 278 teacher and
student teams have entered the finals. Our school’s teachers, Li Kaili
and Wang Qian, achieved excellent results in the sixth place nationwide
and entered the finals.
