Recently, the 16th "Challenge Cup" Liaoning Provincial College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition hosted by Liaoning University came to an end in Shenyang. This time, our university submitted a total of 21 works to participate in the provincial finals, and all 21 works won awards, achieving a new breakthrough of 100% winning rate in the provincial competition! Among them, there are 3 special prizes, 3 first prizes, 12 second prizes and 3 third prizes. Three works won the provincial competition special prize and advanced to the national competition. The number of works that advanced to the national competition ranked seventh among universities in the province and first among private universities, setting a new record for our university's best results in this competition.

The competition is co-hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning Province, Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Association, Liaoning Intellectual Property Office, Liaoning Academy of Social Sciences, and Liaoning Student Federation. The competition lasted for nearly 4 months. After 6 stages including the university preliminary round, on-campus finals, university recommendation, provincial preliminary evaluation, provincial revival competition, and provincial finals, a total of 1,707 works were recommended by universities to the provincial competition. The competition is fierce and the works are extraordinary.
