Our school organized the 13th National College Students E-commerce “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Challenge

In response to the call of the national college students to start their own businesses, to stimulate their enthusiasm, cultivate and enhance their creative spirit, innovation awareness and entrepreneurial ability, and in order to promote employment through entrepreneurship and deepen theory through practice, the Department of E-commerce and Supply Chain Management in the School of Information and Business Management of our university organized the 13th National College Students E-commerce “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Challenge (hereinafter referred to as E-Commerce Competition) on April 14. 

Sponsored by the National E-commerce Innovation Industry-Education Alliance, the E-Commerce Competition is committed to cultivating college students’ innovative consciousness, creative thinking and entrepreneurial ability, and building a platform of free creation and independent operation for college teachers and students to combine professional knowledge with social practice.


Sun Dongshi, Deputy Dean of the School of Information and Business Management of our university, delivered the opening speech for the competition.


A total of 123 teams registered for the university-level competition. During the competition, each team presented and defended in turn according to the drawing order.


After the intense preliminary competition, fifteen projects in regular group and three projects in practical group entered the school finals. Among them, “Yi Zhi Hui Nong – Supporting Agriculture with Smart Bird Technology” Project won the first place in the regular group; “Flocks of winged larks – Plastics Innovation Creating a New Trend of Business Travel” Project took the first place in the practical group.

The final invited five domestic experts in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship education as judges. They are Professor Yang Xingkai, Director of the Teaching Advisory Committee and the E-Commerce Competition in Liaoning, Professor Li Zhaohui from Dalian Maritime University, Professor Wan Jun from Liaoning Technical University, Chen Zhimin, Deputy Chairman of the Dalian Cultural Innovation Branch Committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy, and Zheng Lanmin, the area manager of Hangzhou Business Simulations Company. In the competition, they scored the defense team, and assessed from the aspects of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, speech, and text. In the process of judging, the experts also provided detailed analysis and suggestions for the contestants, which benefited the students a lot.
