Recently, the Educational Department of Liaoning Province issued a notice on the announcement of the selection results of Provincial Distinguished Teachers in Undergraduate Teaching in Regular Schools of Higher Learning in Liaoning Province in 2022 (EDL Notice [2023] No. 55). Professor Zheng Junsheng of the School of Computer and Software, Professor Chen Meina of the School of Information and Business Management, and Professor Sun Fengdong of the School of Health and Medical Technology were selected as distinguished teachers in Regular Schools of Higher Learning in Liaoning Province in 2022.

An Introduction to Distinguished Teachers

Zheng Junsheng, member of Communist Party, professor, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a 19-year teaching experience. In charge of the national first-class undergraduate major construction site, he presides over an educational reform project of Liaoning Province and achieves three school-level teaching achievement awards. Besides, he also establishes a national first-class undergraduate course, a new engineering project in Liaoning Province, and a school-level demonstration course for the integration of specialty and innovation, as well as is awarded as Outstanding Teacher of our university in three times. Engaged in 9 vertical projects and 4 horizontal projects of national, provincial, and municipal level, he publishes over 30 scientific research theses, plays a leading role in the development of 8 information platforms of provincial-level and school-level, including the attendance system, the assignment system, the hybrid learning platform, the one-stop service center platform for college students, the research application management system for The Educational Department of Liaoning Province, and industry education integration expo platforms.

Chen Meina, member of Communist Party, professor, graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a teaching experience of 20 years, holding the titles of SAP HR Certified Consultant, Human Resources Manager, Psychological Consultant, SAP TERP10 Certified Consultant, and Intermediate Economist. She is proficient in human resources management, especially in the field of informationization human resource management. Leading and participating in more than 20 scientific research projects of provincial-level or above, over four quality engineering projects of provincial-level, she heads three collaborative education projects between industry and academia from the Ministry of Education, two employment education projects for supply and demand coordination from the Ministry of Education, five education reform projects of provincial-level, and nine enterprise horizontal projects. In addition to publishing 30 papers, including three core journals from Peking University and seven EI/CPI searches, she is also the chief editor and coeditor of four textbooks. Responsible for the construction of first-class undergraduate education demonstration majors and first-class courses in Liaoning Province, she wins the second prize in the University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition in Liaoning Province and guides multiple subject competitions to win national awards.

Sun Fengdong, member of Communist Party, professor, graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University with a teaching experience of 21 years. He holds the titles of Liaoning Senior Professional and Technical Qualification Evaluation Committee Expert, Liaoning Provincial Undergraduate Professional Evaluation Expert, Dalian Science and Technology Bureau Project Evaluation Expert, and Ministry of Education Industry University Collaborative Education Project Evaluation Expert. He guides students to participate in various subject competitions, and has won multiple first prizes of province and national level, accordingly awarded the titles of "Excellent Instructor" in Liaoning Province and "Golden Instructor" in Dalian Neusoft University of Information. Hosting and participating in 17 vertical scientific research projects, he is the chief editor of two monographs and 14 textbooks, which have respectively won the "Second Prize in the Textbook Category of the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award" and the "Second Prize in Dalian Scientific Works". She also leads one of the "14th Five Year Plan" projects in Liaoning Province, the construction of one first-class undergraduate course in Liaoning Province and two collaborative education projects with the Ministry of Education, as well as being involved in more than 10 teaching reform projects in Liaoning Province and guiding more than 40 innovation and entrepreneurship projects for college students, including four of national level and three provincial level.

So far, a total of 17 teachers in our university have been awarded the title of Provincial Distinguished Teacher.
