Recently, the 2022 joint fund of Dalian Neusoft University of Information and the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University was officially launched by both parties after the defense, evaluation, and public announcement.

The joint project relies on the industrial advantages of Neusoft Healthcare in the field of health and the advantages of the university's health and medical science and technology industry cluster, focuses on scientific research and talent training in the field of medical-industrial crossover, and closely follows the theme of "focus on the frontier, cross-fertilization, transformation and application, and service to health". The cooperation focuses on the innovative application of new-generation information technology in the medical field and supports several research directions such as precision diagnosis, computer-aided diagnosis, and medical image analysis, etc. Eight projects have been established.

On June 11, 2021, a group of 26 doctors, including Wang Qi, Vice President of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University, and Ge Yusong, Director of the Department of Scientific Research, visited our university to exchange ideas and achievements displaying, which laid a good foundation for the subsequent in-depth cooperation.

On September 9, 2021, a medical-industrial cross-contracting ceremony and exchange forum were held between the university and the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University. Liu Zhiyu, President of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Guo Quan, President of the University (then Executive Vice President of the University), Ren Hao, Deputy Secretary of DNUI Party Committee and Vice President of the University, and Li Yingqiu, Vice President of the University (then Assistant President of the University) attended the event. The two sides reached an in-depth strategic cooperation intention on digital healthcare and big data analysis.

On May 31, 2022, our university and the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University jointly held a project defense, which was hosted by our Vice President Li Yingqiu. Wang Qi, Vice President of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Shen Hua, Vice President of our university, and other experts attended the defense evaluation. There were 21 research projects did the oral defense.
