On May 17, Dalian High Tech Zone held the first activity of a series of activities of "Gather in High Tech Innovation in the Future" with the theme of "New Starting Point, New Takeoff". Jia Jingdun, Director of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, delivered a congratulatory speech via video. Luo Dongsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Dalian Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High tech Zone, and An Jinxiang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Liaoning Province, attended the event. Xue Yanxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Dalian High Tech Zone, released the new science and technology policy of the High Tech Zone on the spot. Among them, our university and 13 other universities including Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Liaoning Normal University were invited to participate in the on-site activities as members of the "High and New" Innovation Development Torch Alliance of Dalian High Tech Zone. At the event site, the action program for the industrial development of the high-tech zone and a series of new policies on science and technology were issued. The "High and New" Innovation and Development Torch Alliance of Dalian High tech Zone was also officially established on the same day. The alliance is composed of the Northeast Revitalization Alliance, the One Zone Multi Park Alliance, the District University Innovation Alliance and the Industrial Innovation Alliance. The alliance has united high-tech zones across the country, aligned with Dalian Jinpu New Area, Ganjingzi District, Lvshunkou District and other regions, and also with Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian Neusoft University of Information and other colleges and universities in Dalian have cooperated and aligned, focusing on key emerging industries and gathering industrial resources. Starting from this activity, Dalian High Tech Zone, with its practical actions, fiscal policies, and comprehensive plans, is taking the lead in speeding up the sprint at the new starting point of the city's "GDP exceeded one trillion in three years" and achieving new breakthroughs in revitalization and development.
