On June 21st, 2025, the 27th China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition "Haiguang" Cup Liaoning Provincial Selection Trial was successfully held at Shenyang Ligong Universtiy. A total of 1,740 teams and over 3,500 participants from 44 universities across the province competed on the same stage. Our university's student teams participated in five competitions: the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Competition, the Robot Innovation Competition, the Robot Task Challenge Competition (Brain-Computer and Emergency Robots, Four-Legged Bionic Robot Medium Group), the Aelos Robot Challenge, and the Robot Application Competition - Robot Dance Competition (Humanoid Robot Solo/Duo Dance). Ultimately, they won 13 first prizes, 20 second prizes, and 15 third prizes in the provincial competition.

The China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition is one of the most influential academic competitions for college students, and has been included in the "National Rankings of Academic Competitions for General Higher Education Institutions" published by the China Association of Higher Education, as well as the "Analysis Report on National College Student Competitions". This competition not only provides an important platform for the country and schools to select composite technological talents, but also further cultivates students' engineering thinking, innovation ability, and team collaboration spirit.
