The executive vice president of the Russian University of Transport and his delegation visited our school for exchange

On July 18th, Vladimir Timonin, Executive Vice President of the Russian Transport University, Sergei Potapov, Assistant Vice President, and Liubov Luchinina, Director of the International Cooperation Department, visited our university. Our school principal Guo Quan and vice principal Zhang Wan attended the reception. Vladimir Timonin and his delegation first visited the school's digital intelligence campus exhibition hall, laboratory, innovation and entrepreneurship college, and digital art college. Both parties will have a discussion in the B5/217 conference room. Vladimir Timonin highly praised our school's exploration and achievements in the field of education in his speech, and fully affirmed our school's innovation in digital campus, quality of education, talent cultivation mode, large-scale technical support, educational environment, and professionalization of the education team. He is full of confidence in the future in-depth cooperation between the two schools.

 During the discussion, Zhang Wan stated that since the signing of the cooperation agreement in 2010, the two universities have achieved fruitful results in areas such as teacher-student exchanges, joint scientific research, and professional co construction. More than 200 Chinese and Russian students have realized their dreams of cross-border learning through the "2+2 Double Degree Program" and other programs. I hope that the two schools can continue to expand their cooperation in talent cultivation in the future, and work together to cultivate more talents with cross-cultural thinking, international vision, and innovative spirit for both countries. Guo Quan received Vladimir Timonin and his delegation. Guo Quan pointed out that the Russian Transport University is an important university for talent cultivation and scientific research in the field of transportation in Russia. Over the years, the university has trained a large number of professional talents for Russia and even countries around the world, promoting the updating and iteration of global transportation technology. In the era of artificial intelligence, digital technology has a wide impact on the upgrading and transformation of traditional industries. It is hoped that both sides can integrate their advantageous educational resources, focus on talent cultivation and scientific research in fields such as artificial intelligence, software technology, big data, and logistics between China and Russia, and prepare talent reserves for the future economic and social development of the two countries.
