On May 23rd, the National Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Teaching Development Research of University Teachers, in collaboration with multiple authoritative institutions, jointly released the "Art and Design Competition Index for Undergraduate Students in General Universities (2025 Edition)". The report shows that Dalian Neusoft University of Information, with its outstanding performance in competitions, has strongly ranked among the top 6% of national undergraduate institutions, becoming one of only four private universities in the country to advance to the top tier. It ranks highly in the overall ranking of universities in the province, closely following Northeastern University and Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and is in the same A-range as prestigious "Double First-Class" universities such as Communication University of China, Minzu University of China, and Southeast University. This excellent performance strongly demonstrates the top competitiveness of our university in the field of art and design, highlighting the remarkable effectiveness of innovative talent cultivation.

Art and Design Competition Index for General College Students (Undergraduate, 2025 Edition) - College Ranking Results

The competition index was organized and developed by the Expert Working Group for Research on Art and Design-Related College Student Competitions. The data collection spans from January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2024, spanning 13 years and 1.41 million entries. The index encompasses 14 competitions, involving 1,167 undergraduate institutions, with 536 universities ultimately making the final cut. In Liaoning Province, a total of 35 institutions made the list.
