Recently, the National Higher Education Computer Education Research Association, the National Virtual Teaching and Research Center for Faculty Teaching Development Research, and the Higher Education Digital Intelligence Evaluation Research Center of Hangzhou City University jointly released the “Computer Competition Index for Regular Higher Education Institutions (Undergraduate, 2026 Edition)” (hereinafter referred to as the “2026 Computer Competition Index”). The index results show that our university received an “A-” rating, making it the only private university among the 1,200 undergraduate institutions covered by the index to rank in the top 6%. This marks the third consecutive year our university has ranked first among private universities nationwide, placing us in the same tier as renowned institutions such as the University of Science and Technology of China, Tongji University, and Tianjin University.
