Results of the national final of the 17th “Lanqiao Cup” National College Students’ Software and Information Technology Competition were recently released. Our students delivered an outstanding performance, winning 13 awards in total: 1 first prize, 6 second prizes and 6 third prizes.

Hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, this competition is one of China’s most prestigious IT focused academic contests recognized by the Ministry of Education. It covers tracks such as Java, Python, software testing and Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC). As a nationwide student competition of great learning value, it has drawn participation from over 2,100 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and University of Science and Technology of China. Many universities set up science and innovation teams and carry out extracurricular practices based on this contest, effectively stimulating students’ passion for innovation and promoting continuous improvement of teaching quality.
