On March 5th, a delegation of four from Guangzhou Institute of Science and Technology, including Wei Fengqin, Executive Director, Fu Huanchang, Executive Vice President, Rao Limei, Assistant to the Chairman, and Chen Tianyong, Director of the Development Planning Office, visited DNUI for exchange. DNUI’s President, Guo Quan, met with the delegation, accompanied by Vice President Li Yingqiu, Director of the President's Office Lu Jing, Head of the Academic Affairs Department Xiong Yaohua, and Head of the Scientific Research Department Xiao Jun.

Mr. Guo Quan extended a warm welcome to Ms. Wei Fengqin and her delegation. He briefly introduced the university's general overview, development history, educational characteristics, and the notable achievements made in recent years. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the cultivation model of application-oriented talents in the AI era, the integration of industry and education, AI-empowered teaching, and the cultivation of Teaching Achievement Awards. They jointly explored new pathways for the high-quality development of private universities.

Vice President Li Yingqiu accompanied the delegation on a tour of the university library, the Digital Campus Exhibition Hall, the Neusoft Red Ideological and Political Education Exhibition Hall, and the Student Office & Venture Office (SOVO), providing detailed insights into DNUI’s practices in ideological and political education, digital campus construction, innovation in industry-education integration, and innovation and entrepreneurship education. Wei Fengqin thanked the university for its warm reception and spoke highly of DNUI’s distinctive development. Both sides expressed the hope to use this exchange as an opportunity to deepen cooperation and jointly cultivate application-oriented innovative talents suited to the needs of the times.
