Recently, "Chuang Index," a third-party higher education innovation and entrepreneurship education evaluation research consulting service, officially released the "2025 China University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Index Ranking." In the "2025 China Undergraduate Institutions Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Index Ranking," Dalian Neusoft University of Information once again ranked first among national private universities, continuing to lead the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in private higher education.

The index evaluates 2,919 universities nationwide. The 2025 evaluation scope for undergraduate institutions in China covers 1,365 undergraduate institutions (including vocational undergraduate colleges). The ranking employs the team-developed TP3R five-dimensional evaluation theoretical model for China's university innovation and entrepreneurship education, comprising five primary indicators: Entrepreneurship Practice, Entrepreneurship Teaching, Entrepreneurship Research, Entrepreneurship Effectiveness, and Entrepreneurship Reputation. The model for general undergraduate institutions includes 19 secondary indicators (e.g. program construction, curriculum construction) and 73 tertiary indicators. Compared to the 2024 version, the new index system has achieved several optimizations. Furthermore, the expert database for Chuang Index innovation and entrepreneurship evaluation research has been expanded, providing strong intellectual support for the index research.
