From August 23rd to 25th, the 2024 Branch of Innovative Entrepreneurial Education of China Association of Higher Education, hosted by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education and Northeastern University, was grandly held at Northeastern University. Leaders of 2024 Branch of Innovative Entrepreneurial Education of China Association of Higher Education, invited guests at the forum, and experts and scholars in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation education gathered together under the theme of "New Quality Drives the Future of Intelligent Innovation" to conduct in-depth discussions on how to improve the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship in universities and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, strengthen the top-level design of entrepreneurship and innovation education in universities, and promote the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities in the new stage. Our university president Guo Quan was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech at the professional high-end think tank "China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Creation 50 Forum".

Guo Quan shared the university's experience and achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education under the title of "Exploration and Practice of the 'Five Innovations Integration, Ecological Collaboration' Double Innovation Education Model in the Digital Intelligence Era". He pointed out that Dalian Neusoft University of Information has always actively responded to the national innovation and development strategy, adhered to the positioning of being a distinctive, high-level, and entrepreneurial applied technology university, and has always focused on cultivating students' innovation spirit, entrepreneurial awareness, and innovation and entrepreneurship abilities since its establishment 24 years ago. In response to the demand for applied talents in the era of digital intelligence, the school has established a "five innovation integration and ecological collaboration" double innovation education model, which organically integrates ideological innovation, specialized innovation, industrial innovation, competition innovation, and social innovation. Based on the "3+6+N" double innovation platform, through the diversified support of government, university, industry, and enterprises, a collaborative development ecosystem is formed, realizing the advantages and value extension of fresh applied education and talent cultivation.

Guo Quan introduced the TOPCARES application-oriented talent training model that has been launched since 2008, including how to comprehensively define the training objectives of application-oriented talents, implement professional/course dual closed loops step by step, and achieve measurable and easy to implement evaluations through the "Core Competency Evaluation Gauge". At the same time, as one of the first "Smart Education Demonstration Schools" in Liaoning Province, the school provides a ubiquitous 4A flexible learning space for teachers and students. Through a data-driven student growth support system and teaching support system, differentiated teaching, personalized learning, and refined management can be achieved, ensuring that the training objectives are perceivable, quantifiable, and implementable, thereby effectively improving the efficiency and quality of university education and teaching.
