Our university ranks first among private universities in the national college student computer competition index

On April 15, in the academic activity of teaching development and innovative talent training of college teachers at the Fujian Higher Education Expo, the National Association of Computer Education in Colleges and Universities, the National Virtual Teaching and Research Department of Teacher Teaching Development and Research, and the Digital Intelligence Evaluation Research Center of Higher Education of Zhejiang University City College jointly released China’s first computer competition index for college students (undergraduate, 2024 edition, hereinafter referred to as the "Computer Competition Index").

According to the attachment of the report, “Results of the Computer Competition Index for Students in Schools of Higher Learning (Undergraduate-2024 Edition)”, our university has a grade of A- in the list of universities in the computer competition index, ranking first among private universities in the country, and is the only private university in the top 6% among the 1,157 undergraduate colleges covered by the index. It ranks the top four universities in Liaoning Province, following Dalian University of Technology and Northeastern University, and shares the same score range with University of Science and Technology of China, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Tianjin University, South China University of Technology, etc.

This round of computer competition index covers a total of 28 computer competitions, 164, 985 data, data collection ranging from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2023. The expert working group is in full reference to the school of higher learning students competition analysis report on the basis of the quality model of the construction of the computer competition quality analysis model, the overall analysis of 26 relevant index data for each competition project star division, the evaluation of the university computer competition index. According to the report, 1,157 undergraduate colleges and universities are included in the evaluation scope of this round of computer competition index, accounting for 93.2% of all undergraduate institutions.
