Golden autumn once more brought freshmen again. On August 25 and 26, the freshmen orientation went smoothly.  

  The campus of Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information was brimming with festive atmosphere. The encouraging banners, billowing colorful flags on both sides of the main road depicted a scroll of college life for the freshmen. For the convenience of the freshmen to get familiar with the surroundings, the registration schedule and the school flat floor plan were placed at the registration counter, which provided great convenience for the freshmen and their parents. Meanwhile, the school also designed a theme logo and admission badge for the freshmen of grade 2012 to encourage them to fulfill their dreams and realize their vale of life.  

  For the smoothness of the welcoming the freshmen, at 6 a.m., different departments, student union, student societies and volunteers had already get prepared. The school arranged pick-up buses to pick up students at the train station and it also arranged shuttle buses between registration counter and apartments of second phase and third phase. The detailed introduction from all departments and each student society as well as their warm smiles brought warmth to the freshmen.  

President Wen Tao, Party Secretary of the School Che Ruwen, Deputy Party Secretary of the School Ren Hao and other school leaders inspected the work of freshmen orientation. The delegation of the school leaders had a full inspection of the registration counter, tuition fee counter, reception counter and sent their regards to the volunteers and praised their work. During their inspection, the school leaders greeted the parents of the freshmen and asked in detail about the progress of their children’s admission registration and they also expressed that they would not fail to live up to parents' expectations and they also welcomed more valuable advice to the school.  

  President Wen Tao said: “The lives of the freshmen should be reported more by Administrivia News and the most important is to guide the freshmen to adapt to the college life. At the same time, those reports should be updated to the school website in time to let the parents know their children’s school life, which is for the benefit of the students and letting the parents feel relieved.”
