Zhang Dexiang, Vice Chairman of Higher Education Committee of China, Former Party Secretary of Dalian University of Technology, Bie Dunrong, Vice President of Education Institute of Xiamen University, Zhang Xiangyun, Director of Higher Education Institute of Shenzhen University, Li Jun, Vice Director of Higher Education Institute of Shenzhen University, Li Jianqiu, Director of Technology and Vocation Office of Shenzhen Polytechnic, Yan Longfei, a Postdoc, Jiang Hua, Professor of Higher Education Institute of Dalian University of Technology, Wang Baohua, Vice Secretary of College of Letters and Law of Communication University of China, Long Shili Higher Education Center of Shandong University, Wang Lianshen, director of reform and development institute of Shandong University visited DNUI and gave guidance on the building of entrepreneurship-oriented university. President Wen Tao, Vice President Guo Quan, Vice President Zhao Bo, Vice Party Secretary Ren Hao and Chief Finance Director Chao Yujun held talks with experts at A9-217 on April 20th.

He indicated that higher education faced the trend of reform and fierce competition in China's new normal economic situation. Based on the aim of DNUI, which is establishing distinctive and high-level entrepreneurship-oriented applied technology university, President Wen pointed out that entrepreneurship-oriented university should focus on cultivating students' healthy personality, innovative thought, entrepreneurial sense and abilities related to entrepreneurship and innovation. Besides, requirements of knowledge, ability, and quality related to talent cultivation as well as how to meet these requirements should be taken into consideration. Meanwhile, President Wen analyzed DNUI's teaching concept which is based on TOPCARES-CDIO, the system of construction of curriculum and competence index conforming to industrial demands, construction of teaching staff based on "Three Types of Teachers Model", construction of the system of entrepreneurship and innovation including the education cloud platform based on 4A soft learning system(anytime, anyone, anywhere, anyway), college student mass innovation platform, entrepreneurship consultation, international exchange in global vision as well as strategies and guidelines of university culture construction featuring Neusoft education DNA.   Experts listened to DNUI's establishment and development plan and spoke highly of DNUI's achievements in 15 years' construction, the persistence of its education concept “Education Creates Students' Value", and praised DNUI's entrepreneurship and innovation program as well as its unique school culture in particular. Meanwhile, experts put forward valuable suggestions concerning source of students, construction of curriculum system, talent cultivation system, teaching staffs and school culture in the process of establishing entrepreneurship-oriented university.   Experts visited DNUI's SOVO as well, and looked into conditions of entrepreneurship and innovation and students' entrepreneurship and innovation program.
