Recently, Dr. CellaMiss, President of Manchester Metropolitan University, one of our cooperative universities in the UK, made a friendly visit to DNUI with other three visitors. The guests were received warmly by Mr. Guo Quan, Vice President of DNUI, and Ms. Yang Lu, Dean of School of International Education.

During the meeting, the both parties exchanged views and reached a consensus on the concerned majors, specific modes, plans and schedule of the cooperation. According to the cooperation plan, the two universities will begin their cooperation with bridging courses, and then promote the cooperation project to all departments of the university. Meanwhile, both parties agreed to provide more opportunities for DNUI teachers and students to go abroad for study and broadening perspectives.

Manchester Metropolitan University is located in Manchester in North West England and is the second largest university in the country, providing more than 400 degree and postgraduate courses. It has developed international relationships with institutions in the US, Europe, Australia and other countries and areas, creating opportunities for MMU students to study abroad. Its key disciplines and specialties enjoy excellent reputation in the UK and the courses in arts, management and engineering are especially popular among British and international students.
