With the rapid development of the joint training business for Russian students, a growing number of Russian universities, colleges as well as media are gradually attracted to seek cooperation with our university. Since November, guests from Magnitogorsk Industrial University, Far Eastern State Technical Fishery University, Altai State University of Science and Technology and the state television of Buryat Republic came to visit DNUI successively.

From November 2nd to 6th, reporters from the state television of Buryat Republic paid a 5-day visit to DNUI on invitation. "Buryat" state television and broadcasting corporation is a branch of Russia national television and broadcasting corporation in Buryat Republic, which is located in a beautiful city, Ulan-Ude. President Wen Tao introduced the history of DNUI, orientation of running the university and achievements that DNUI made in teaching and talents cultivation in an exclusive interview. Leaders and teachers from School of International Education, Department of Computer Science and Technology and Department of Information Technology and Business Administration answered reporters' questions concerning DNUI's development of internationalization, business situations involving Russia, features of major, employment trends, etc. Through interviews, Russian reporters had a better understanding of Dalian, DNUI as well as Russian students' life in China. From November 1st to 8th, the delegation of Magnitogorsk Industrial University led by Vice President madam NOZAROVA who was appointed by school's President visited DNUI. President Wen Tao met the delegation and both parties reached a consensus on making joint efforts to cultivate talents and conduct scientific research. Students from the major of logistics engineering will be sent to study in DNUI next year. Both parties will jointly conduct talents cultivation concerning majors of software engineering and e-commerce.

From November 15th to 20th, the delegation of Far Eastern State Technical Fishery University led by President Kim Georgy Nikolaevich paid a friendly visit to DNUI. President Wen Tao met the delegation and both parties negotiated about expanding joint education program, oversea joint teaching and training for teachers from Far Eastern Technical Fishery University.  Cooperative agreements on new majors was sign at the end of talks. From November 24th to 29th, the delegation of Altai State University of Science and Technology visited DNUI. President Wen Tao, head of Department of Computer Science and Technology Sun Wei, head of Department of Information Technology and Business Administration Chen Tingbin, head of School of International Education Yang Lu met the delegation successively. Through multi-level negotiation, both parties reached an consensus on expanding joint cultivation concerning software engineering, teachers and personnel training, joint scientific research, joint cultivation of Chinese students majoring in Russian and distance education of Russian major.
