With colorful flags flying, a deafening sound of gongs and drums on campus, Dalian Neusoft University of Information was filled with an ebullient atmosphere. On the 28th of May, the 10th Sport Meeting was held. All the school leaders, the teaching staff as well as the students gathered at the school stadium, sharing such a sporting event. The event was chaired by Wang Weikun, Director of the President’s Office.   At 8:00 am, the melody of "Athletes March" pervaded everywhere at the stadium, with the national flag, the school flag as well as banners fluttering in the wind. The parades consisted of teachers and students from different departments accepted the review. Each parade was in high spirit and full of creation. Among them, the one from the Department of Digital Arts made a perfect combination of the Cosplay Show with the original brand image Donki, Cinderella and other characters in the movies with homemade costumes and props, which drew the cheerfulness from the audience. The parade from International School of Education fully reflects an atmosphere of international integration, students from both home and Russian sang the song named "Katyusha" with eight Russian girls dancing, which created a cheerful atmosphere.  

  After the reviewing, Wen Tao, President of DNUI solemnly declared: "DNUI’s 10th Sport Meeting gets started!" Then, a salute of 38 guns was fired and the stadium was filled with cheerfulness.   With the excitement of the national anthem, the 10th Sport Meeting officially kicked off. Guo Quan, Vice-president as well as Director of the Sports Meeting Commission made an opening speech. He said: “a healthy body and personality is not only what we young students pursue, but also an objective requirement of the times. I hope the whole teaching staff and students meet challenges with high-spirited enthusiasm and dreams, as well as a healthy mind and body.” Then the athlete and referee representatives gave the oaths.   The group calisthenics show was really magnificent which added a rich color to the Games. The show named “Spirits of Martial Arts” which consisted of 300 students from Martial Arts Club and Neusoft Martial Arts Association, the show named “Happiness Sets Sail” from the Department of Fundamental Courses and Undergraduate Affairs Office, and the show named “Vibrant Youth” from the Department of Digital Arts won thunderous applause.  

  A scorching sun was right there on that day in May. Moreover, the atmosphere at the stadium was kept heating up with the efforts athletes made, cheerfulness for the intense competition, and the vigor and passion of the audience. The working staff and reporters kept real-time track of each event and fulfilled the fastest media coverage to pass the fantastic moments of the Games at the first time.  

  Ultimately, the student teams from the Department of Digital Arts, the Management Team of Computer Science and Technology Education, the Management Team of Software Engineering Education won the top three. The teaching teams from the Management Team, Department of Computer Science and Technology, and the Department of Information Technology and Business Administration won the top three. The Outstanding Propaganda Atmosphere Award, Outstanding Performance Award and Special Contribution Award were also presented at the Games.  

    At the interval of the Games, President Wen Tao also was shown around the studio of the Department of Digital Arts.
