The newly added Embodied Intelligence category focuses on cutting-edge home-service robotics and responds to the growing needs of an aging society. It assesses integrated engineering capabilities in robot perception, decision-making, obstacle avoidance, recognition, and interaction. The scenarios are complex and the tasks comprehensive. To align with the category’s technical requirements, the university has integrated key competition skills—including robot hardware assembly, multi-sensor adaptation, ROS system integration, and algorithm optimization and debugging—into classroom teaching and practical training, building an educational system that connects coursework with competitions.
