From December 2nd to 3rd, local time, President Guo Quan led a delegation to visit British partner institutions, meeting with leaders from Royal Holloway University of London, University of Sussex, and Study Group to promote in-depth cooperation and exchange between our school and British universities and institutions in areas such as joint education programs, studying abroad, and international students.
On December 2nd, Guo Quan and his delegation visited Royal Holloway University of London, where they met with Vice President Giuliana Pieri. Guo Quan introduced the school's distinctive features of Industry-University integration and expressed the hope for further cooperation in areas such as joint education programs and undergraduate-to-master's programs. Giuliana Pieri introduced the history and strengths of Royal Holloway University of London, and both parties looked forward to taking their cooperation to a new level. They had fruitful discussions on talent cultivation concepts, cooperation models, and the strengths of each side.
During the visit, Guo Quan and his delegation toured the campus facilities, the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Information Security, and listened to presentations on research achievements by professors and graduate students.
On December 3rd, Guo Quan and his delegation visited the University of Sussex, where they had a friendly exchange with Vice President Robin Banerjee. Both parties reviewed their history of cooperation and looked forward to the continued expansion of student exchanges between the two universities. At the University of Sussex, Guo Quan also met with July Behl, Global Director of Strategic Partnerships at Study Group, to discuss strategic cooperation.
