On June 18th, the 15th BRICS and SCO International IT Forum opened in Khanty-Mansiysk, the capital of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, Russia. The forum was hosted by the Northern Forum and the government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, and was held in a hybrid online and offline format for three days. On June 19th, Vice President Li Yingqiu of our university, as a member of the Northern Forum expert group, was invited to attend the international expert group meeting on the regional information technology agenda in an online format, and represented the school to make a thematic report.
Li Yingqiu introduced the school's innovative practices and rich experience in empowering IT talent education with digital technology in her report. She emphasized that the school relies on Neusoft's IT service advantages and the industrial advantages of Dalian High-tech Zone, integrating new generation information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing into education, teaching, and management services, and has built a new educational teaching ecology characterized by networking, intelligence, and immersion, which has significantly improved the school's educational quality and the level of IT talent training. At present, more than 500 colleges and universities in China are using this system. Neusoft has provided strong support for cooperative colleges and universities with first-class educational products and management services, making a positive contribution to social development.

Regarding the connection between the Northern Forum and digital education, Li Yingqiu said that the Northern Forum has the important mission of improving the quality of human life and supporting the sustainable development of all regions, and digital education is a key way to achieve these goals. She advocated guiding the development of digital education with goals, and promoting the realization of goals with digital education. This view resonated highly with the experts present.
Other internationally renowned scholars attending the conference included Professor Andrey Bryksenkov of the Russian State Hydrometeorological University, Senior Researcher Andrey Kostin of the Institute of Economics and Industrial Production Organization of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and Professor Zheng Haiyong of Ocean University of China.
The IT forum brought together people from BRICS countries, SCO countries, and other countries to discuss issues such as the digital economy, information security, artificial intelligence, smart cities, and international cooperation in a broad and in-depth manner. Through this forum, countries are expected to further carry out international cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and the digital economy, jointly tackle technical challenges, and promote the prosperity and development of global information technology.
