On June 1st, the 15th Lanqiao Cup National Software and Information Technology Professionals Competition (referred to as “Lanqiao Cup Competition”), sponsored by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was held in 54 colleges and universities across the country. Our students compete with nearly 20,000 elite players from Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University and other top universities, and won 5 second prizes and 14 third prizes at the national level.

This year’s competition is divided into two levels: provincial competition (qualification trial) and final competition, including software competition, electronics competition, project competition, visual art design competition, digital technology innovation competition, attracting over 250,000 players from more than 1,900 colleges and universities across the country to actively participate in the competition, which demonstrates the highest level of students specializing in the field of information technology in China’s colleges and universities. Our students from the School of Computer and Software, the School of Intelligence and Electronic Engineering, the School of Digital Arts and Design, the School of Health Care Technology, and the Higher Vocational College of Technology participated in 5 events of the Software Competition (C/C++ Programming, Java Software Development, Python Programming, Web Application Development, and Software Testing), 3 events of the Electronics Competition, (Embedded Design and Development, Single-Chip Microcomputer Design and Development, and 5G Full Network Planning and Construction), and 4 events of the AI Office Track in Project Competition (Graphic Design (Poster), Cultural and Creative Design, Video Design, and Interaction Design (UI)). These students won a total of 247 provincial prizes, including 41 first prizes, 87 second prizes, 114 third prizes, and 5 excellence prizes.
