From April 1st to April 4th, a delegation from the Russian Government University of Finance and Economics (hereafter referred to as RGUFE) visited our school for a four-day visit. The delegation consisted of Sereda Aleksei, Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of RGUFE, Feklin Vadim, Head of the Department of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis, Mirzoian Mariam, Deputy Head of the Department of Information Technology and Big Data Analysis, and Khvicha Kharchilava, Deputy Head of the Department of Economics and Business. Zhang Wan, Vice President of our school, received the visiting guests. The relevant persons in charge and teachers of the School of International Education, the School of Computer and Software, the Neusoft Research Institute, and the School of Foreign Languages accompanied the reception.

Vice President Zhang Wan met with the delegation of the Russian Government University of Finance and Economics. She extended a warm welcome to the delegation, introduced the strength and characteristics of the university in IT-related majors, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the delegation on the upcoming joint talent training and academic research cooperation between the two universities. The delegation also discussed with the School of International Education and the School of Computer and Software. Rong Yidan, Director of the School of International Education, introduced the general situation of the school to the visiting guests in detail, and Zheng Junsheng, Vice Dean of the School of Computer and Software, and Zhao Lei, a teacher, introduced the School of Computer and Software and the software engineering major respectively.

During the visit, the delegation of the Russian Government University of Finance and Economics had an in-depth understanding of the university. The delegation visited the library of the Software Park campus, the Student Entrepreneurship Center SOVO, the Experimental Training Center, the School of Digital Arts and Design, the No. 19 dormitory building, and the third phase of the student activity center. The guests praised the achievements of our university in laboratory construction, scientific research, teacher-student competitions and other aspects, and also paid close attention to the construction of our university’s smart campus and information platform.

The delegation of the Russian Government University of Finance and Economics held a meeting with the students of the school of Computer and Software of DNUI. Feklin Vadim and Mirzoian Mariam introduced the English-taught master’s program of the Russian Government University of Finance and Economics and warmly invited the students of the university to study for a master’s degree at the university.

After the meeting between Chinese and Russian teachers and students, the delegation of the Russian University of Finance and Economics went to the Neusoft Research Institute and had an in-depth discussion with Kang Ling, Director of the General Office of the Neusoft Research Institute, and Fang Ying, a teacher, on the joint scientific research projects and related issues of the two universities. During the meeting, Feklin Vadim introduced the scientific research projects in the field of big data and digitalization of the Russian University of Finance and Economics in recent years. The two sides agreed that there is a lot of room for cooperation and feasibility between the two universities in joint scientific research in the future.

The delegation also visited the library and smart classroom of Neusoft Group’s Hekou Park and Bochuan Campus, and learned more about the development history and business areas of Neusoft Group, the overall scale of our university, supporting facilities, and students’ study and living conditions in school.
