On December 15th, the 2023 “Voice in China” Education Annual Conference, hosted by China Media Group and China Radio Network, was grandly held in Beijing. At this education conference, Dalian Neusoft University of Information was awarded the honorary title of National Applied Model University in 2023.

The theme of this conference is “Revitalizing the Country through Science and Education, Cultivating Talents through Work”. Famous education experts, principals, industry leaders, outstanding education practitioners, education journalists, industry research experts, and others across the country are invited to gather together. Combining with the hot topics and latest policies in education in 2023, discussions and exchanges are conducted through keynote speeches, special reports, high-end interviews, TED sharing, and elite forums, creating a high-end event for education sharing and exchange.

Ren Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of our school, represented the school to present at the forum and accepted an interview. During the interview, he first introduced the school’s educational characteristics and highlights, and shared the educational as an example by combining with the theme of the conference “Science and Education for National Development and Talent Cultivation”, he discussed with everyone how universities can cultivate applied talents.

In addition, in September 2023, the school simultaneously unveiled two affiliated hospitals, Dalian Neusoft University of Information Affiliated Cardiovascular Hospital and Dalian Neusoft University of Information Affiliated Stomatological Hospital, marking a new leap in the integration of medicine and industry.

Regarding how to cultivate high-end talents who can adapt to social development, Deputy Secretary Ren Hao pointed out that the fundamental task of universities is to promote morality and nurture people. How universities serve the society, the most fundamental is to provide a steady flow of talents for the development of society. Education is to create the value of students and to promote social development through students.
