At 9:00 am on June 21st, the 2023 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was grandly held in the lecture hall of Bochuan Campus. All school leaders, members of the Bachelor's Degree Evaluation Committee, as well as leaders and teachers from various departments and colleges, attended the graduation ceremony, and together with representatives of 2023 graduates and parents, as well as alumni representatives of 2020, 2021, and 2022 graduates, witnessed this important moment in their lives. Cao Yuanhang, majoring in Computer Science and Technology at the School of Computer Science and Software, gave a speech as a representative of the graduates. He expressed his gratitude to the school for their careful cultivation, shared his gains during his alma mater and his expectations for the future.

The parents of Chi Cheng, a 2023 graduate majoring in Communication Engineering from the School of Intelligent and Electronic Engineering, spoke as their representative. She congratulated the students who successfully completed their studies, expressed sincere gratitude to the school and teachers, and gave sincere advice to the graduates.

Guan Yi, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Supply Chain Management at the School of Information and Business Management, delivered a speech on behalf of the teacher. He urged graduates, as people from Neusoft, to take it as their own responsibility to build a strong country through education, and to fulfill the mission of the times through the pattern of “greater self”. They should experience and grow through responsibility, develop a good habit of self-directed and lifelong learning in the next stage of life journey, and accumulate inexhaustible strength for one’s future exciting life. In the face of competition and challenges in life, students should always be strict with themselves and always have a sense of self-discipline. Be a kind, just, and warm new youth.

President Guo Quan delivered a speech at the Graduation Ceremony. He congratulated the 2023 graduates who were pursuing new dreams, and welcomed the classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022 alumni representatives who participated in this belated Graduation Ceremony. President Guo Quan reviewed the common memories of the 2023 graduates during their school years, as well as the stories of their struggles in subject competitions, postgraduate studies, innovation and entrepreneurship. He gave full recognition to his classmates’ efforts and dedication during their university years, and affectionately said, “You are a generation that witnesses history and is also a remarkable generation. At the same time, President Guo Quan summarized the significant progress made by the school in various fields such as connotation based development and high-quality improvement, and shared with graduates the joy of witnessing the school’s growth together.

At an important moment when he is about to embark on a new journey in life, President Guo Quan has put forward three hopes to the graduates. Firstly, he hopes that the students will firmly adhere to their ideals and beliefs, have lofty aspirations, and work hard to serve the motherland. Secondly, I hope that students will persist in working hard and down-to-earth to realize their personal values. The third is to hope that students have the courage to innovate and break through, forge ahead, and expand the width of their lives. Once you came from all directions, but now you are far and wide. As the familiar melody of the school song sounded, all teachers and students stood up, and all graduates and teachers sang the school song “Dreams on the Road” together. The scene was warm and touching. The loud and clear singing echoed in the lecture hall, echoing everyone's deep attachment to the campus of Neusoft.

After the Graduation Ceremony, a Degree Awarding Ceremony and Turning of the Tassel Ceremony were held. Graduates dressed in degree suits appeared on stage one by one, and the school leaders and members of the school's Degree Evaluation Committee presented degree certificates, tassels, and took a group photo with each graduate present to bear in mind. In the past three years, due to the impact of the epidemic, graduates from class 2020, 2021, and 2022 have participated the online graduation ceremonies to bid farewell to Neusoft and gone their separate ways. Today, the school specially invited alumni representatives to the graduation ceremony and arranged a special the turning of the tassel ceremony to make up for the regret of the university for the alumni.

After the ceremony, all school leaders and teachers stood up at the scene, filled with expectations and blessings in the song “Wishing You a Bon Voyage”, waving and watching as the 2023 graduates set off completely new. At the moment of departure, this special ceremony from the alma mater moved many graduates to tears.
