At this meeting, Mr. Hwy chang Moon, founder of WURI RANKING ( World University of Real Impact Ranking) and chairman of the National Institute for Competitiveness Policy and Strategy (IPSNC) in Seoul, South Korea, introduced the difference between WURI RANKING and the traditional world college and university rankings, which not only focuses on academic research and academic reputation, but also emphasizes how schools can transform knowledge into the ability to solve practical problems to help students cope with challenges in the real world. Mr. Hwy chang Moon also mentioned that for the ranking this year, a new evaluation method was adopted. In addition to the evaluation opinions of the evaluation team and members of the WURI evaluation committee participating in the ranking universities, ChatGPT was also used for artificial intelligence evaluation. ChatGPT evaluated the innovation, feasibility, and actual impact of all participating project content, using a scoring principle of 1 to 100, with 100 being the highest score. Finally, the WUI Evaluation Committee verified the reliability of the submitted content, integrated the suggestions of the judges and the evaluation results of ChatGPT, and finally determined the 2023 WUI RANKING list.

In 2023, 12 projects were submitted by relevant colleges of our school. After internal evaluation, 6 projects from School of Information and Business Management, the School of Foreign Languages, Higher Vocational College of Technology, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and School of International Education were recommended for selection by the Hanseatic University Alliance.
The 2023 WURI ranking set up six categories to receive participation in Global University innovation projects, namely, “Industrial Application”, “Entrepreneurship Spirit”, “Educational Values”, “Student Mobility and Openness”, “Crisis management”, and “Progress in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. All projects participating in the evaluation were sent to all judges anonymously. The judges evaluated all projects according to the three dimensions of project innovation, feasibility, and actual impact. Finally, the Alliance counted the 50 best projects of each type according to the evaluation results of all judges, and combined the evaluation results of projects in all dimensions to select the top 100 universities of the World Innovation University.
