Recently, the 13th “Challenge Cup”, National College Students' entrepreneurship competition, came to a close. The competition attracted 1.424 million students from 3,011 universities across the country, who submitted more than 330,000 innovative entrepreneurial projects. After the school-level preliminaries, provincial-level semi-finals, national finals preliminary evaluation, and national finals final evaluation, our school finally won two bronze medals in the national competition, three gold medals, 13 silver medals, and eight bronze medals in Liaoning Provincial Competition. The school was awarded the Liaoning Provincial Excellent Organization Award. In this competition, our school recommended 25 project teams to participate in the Liaoning Provincial Competition, of which 24 works won awards. Our school ranked tenth in the overall score of the provincial college group and ranked first among private colleges and universities. We had a total of 11 projects that entered the provincial finals, ranking eighth among universities in the province and first among private colleges and universities. This is an increase of seven projects compared to last year.
The National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition, a key part of the 'Challenge Cup' series of competitions, is known as the 'Olympic' event for Chinese university students' academic and technological achievements. The aim of this event is to inspire students to love science, pursue new knowledge, study hard, be innovative, and embrace challenges. Through the competition, we aim to cultivate innovative and entrepreneurial talents and build a new platform for industry-education integration, encouraging young students to grow in wisdom and ability through innovation and entrepreneurship.
