From November 7 to November 11, 2022, University of Dundee Business School in the United Kingdom, together with the School of Information and Business Management of our university, as well as 19 cooperative universities such as the University of Bergamo in Italy, Northern University of Malaysia, Mysore School of Management and Development in India, Dalian University of Foreign Languages, South China Agricultural University, Jiangsu Second Normal University, and China University of Petroleum, jointly held the international online seminar on "Sustainable Social and Economic Development (WISSED)" in 2022.

The conference was composed of keynote speeches, academic presentations, and interactive exchanges between representatives of various cooperative institutions. This meeting was open to professors and doctoral students from all cooperative and potential cooperative institutions. The meeting discussed issues related to social and economic development, and aimed to encourage cooperation between participating institutions and researchers.

In this meeting, a total of 12 teachers from School of Information and Business Management of our university were recruited and invited to give oral reports at the seminar. At the meeting, Dr. Liang Chen from School of Information and Business Management of our university delivered a keynote speech on "Scale-up Development of Hydrogen Energy Industry in China", which was highly praised by all experts. The teachers exchanged discussions with scholars and experts from all countries. The experts affirmed the research results of our teachers, and also gave guidance and suggestions on research methods and conclusions.

WISSED was first held at the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 2015, and was held by University of Dundee Business School in 2020. The seminar aims to focus on the factors that promote or hinder sustainable socio-economic development through interdisciplinary research.
