At 21:00 Beijing time on June 9, 2022, the "2022 World University of Real Impact Ranking" conference was held online, sponsored by the Seoul National Institute for Competitiveness Policy and Strategy (IPSNC), and co-sponsored by the Hanseatic University Union (HLU), the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), Franklin University (FUS), Switzerland, and the Korea Institute for Industrial Policy (IPS).
In the newly released 2022 WURI RANKING (2022 Ranking of World Universities with Real Influence), our university has made another great achievement, ranking 91 among the Global Top 100 Innovative Universities, up 6 places from last year, becoming the seventh Chinese university to be shortlisted in this ranking this year. Among the top 100 global innovation universities, there are also Tsinghua University, Peking University, Changjiang Business School, Beijing Normal University, Beijing Business University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

In addition, our school also made breakthrough achievements in the 2022 WURI RANKING's four project categories of "Entrepreneurial Spirit", "Student Mobility and Openness", "Crisis Management" and "Progress in the Fourth Industrial Revolution" won the 35th place in the category of "innovation spirit" (6 places higher than last year), the 36th place in the category of "international student exchange" (4 places higher than last year), the 20th place in the category of "crisis management" (5 places higher than last year), and won the fifth place in the new category of "progress made in the fourth industrial revolution" in 2022!
2022 WURI Ranking submitted a total of 9 projects in the shortlist category, including 3 projects from Innovation and Entrepreneurship College, Big Data Management and Application Department and Software Engineering Department in the "Innovation Spirit" category; Two projects from the Department of Financial Management were submitted in the category of "Progress made in the Fourth Industrial Revolution"; Two projects from the Software Engineering Department and the Financial Management Department were submitted in the category of "International Student Exchange"; The "crisis management" category submitted two projects from the Department of Visual Communication Design and the Department of Financial Management.

The 2022 WURI ranking set up six types to receive the participation of global university innovation projects, including industrial application, entrepreneurial spirit, educational value, student mobility and openness, crisis management, and progress in the era of Fourth Industrial Revolution. All projects participating in the evaluation will be sent to all judges anonymously. The judges will evaluate all projects according to the three dimensions of project innovation, feasibility and actual impact. Finally, the Alliance will count the 50 best projects of each type according to the evaluation results of all judges, and select the top 100 universities of global innovation universities based on the evaluation results of all dimensions of projects.
