After nearly four months of preparation, the international exchange student program cooperated by Indonesia's ITB Stikom Bali University and our university will officially start at the end of August. Eight Indonesian students will exchange online to the Software Engineering Department of our university for one semester of all English courses.

The opening ceremony of the project was held synchronously and remotely in Dalian, China and Bali, Indonesia at 9 a.m. on August 26, 2021. Dr. I gusti Ayu Widari, coordinator of ITB Stikom Bali international program, Ricky Nurtanto Diaz, Director of information system, pivin Suwirmayanti, Director of computer system research program, Luh putu Ayu Prapitasari, Director of 2021 international credit exchange program, Rong Yidan, Dean of school of international education, Ren Changning, Vice dean of school of software, Director of software engineering department, and Fang Ying, Teacher of Software Engineering Department Yan Fenglong, Ren Zheng, Zhang Meijia, Director of Business Development Department of School of International Education, and 8 students from ITB Stikom Bali attended the online opening ceremony.

First, 8 students from Indonesia's ITB Stikom Bali University who participated in the project introduced themselves.

Rong Yidan delivered a welcome speech. She said that the smooth progress of the credit conversion project is inseparable from the joint efforts of both sides. Although the pandemic separates us at both ends of the screen, it cannot hinder the welcome of Dalian Neusoft University of Information to all teachers and students. We look forward to the day when students can feel the learning atmosphere of our school on campus and enter our campus to study software engineering related courses.

Ren Changning delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the department. Ren Changning said that although online teaching is adopted at present, the quality of the course will not decline. All teachers will complete the teaching task with full enthusiasm and serious attitude. I hope all students will listen carefully according to the requirements of the teachers and complete the learning requirements with quality and quantity.

Ricky Nurtanto Diaz spoke as a representative. He expressed the hope that students would cherish this valuable learning opportunity, seriously study China's advanced software professional knowledge, apply theoretical knowledge to practice, and achieve real learning.

In order to facilitate the students to better understand each course in advance, three teachers, Fang Ying, Yan Fenglong and Ren Zheng, introduced the project in turn, showing the main content of each course, the software that may be used in teaching, homework and assessment methods. The students also asked questions about the courses and projects, and the atmosphere was very warm.

I Gusti Ayu Widari made a concluding speech. She thanked all the teachers of Dalian Neussoft University of Information for the hard work in the project, from the project application to the final implementation of the support and help, and looked forward to more cooperation between the two schools in the future.

The international exchange program is supported by the scholarship of the Indonesian government, and all tuition fees of students are paid by the Indonesian government. With the Belt and Road Initiative, DNUI’s education cooperation with Belt and Road Initiative countries has been deepened. The cooperation with ITB Stikom Bali university is also a milestone in the cooperation between our university and Indonesian University. With the improvement of our international reputation, more international students will enter Neusoft to pursue study in the future.
