From July 25 to 28, 2021, the finals of the 13th "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" National Management Decision Simulation Competition were held in Changchun Huatian Hotel, Jilin Province. Nearly 300 students from 96 colleges and universities participated in the finals. Under the joint guidance of Guan Yi and Xu Zhichao, teachers of Information Management and Information System from School of Information and Business Management, the team of YiNing, with its members of Sun Shiyi, Zhou Sitong and Feng Yulong, who are Grade 2020 students of the department, stood out and won the national special prize and the runner up of the finals in the final defense.

Name list of oral defense teams

The National Management Decision Simulation Competition is hosted by the Economic Management Professional Working Group of the virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Innovation Alliance and the Organizing Committee of The National Management Decision Simulation Competition. The national finals are hosted by Jilin University of Finance and Economics. Since its launch in September 2020, the competition has received positive responses from more than 700 colleges and universities across the country. More than 31,000 teams have participated in the preliminary competitions organized by colleges and universities. After heavy screening of regional competitions, regional semi-finals and national semi-finals, 96 teams finally entered the national finals. The national finals are divided into six groups. The first two in each group are special awards, of which the first in the group is promoted to the final oral defense.

The competition was led by teacher Xu Zhichao. The three students fully demonstrated the spirit of DNUIers. After six rounds of fierce competition, they finally won the first place in the group and advanced to the finals. In the oral defense session, three students played well and finally won the runner up. This achievement is also a historic breakthrough of Dalian Neusoft University of Information in this event.
