On May 1, the Northern Division of the 8th "Siglent Cup" National Competition of College Experimental Teaching Case Design for Electrical and Electronic Foundation Course (hereafter as the Competition) was held in Harbin Institute of Technology. All 4 entries of DNUI won prizes, including 2 second prizes and 2 third prizes.

The Competition was sponsored by the Chinese Institute of Electronics and the Electronics Division of the Joint Committee of the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education. It was jointly hosted by the Electrical and Electronic Experimental Teaching Center Joint Committee of universities in Northern China and the National Demonstration Center for Electrical and Electronic Experimental Education in Harbin Institute of Technology.

The Competition is the only experimental teaching competition for college electrical and electronic foundation courses in the country. Starting in 2020, the event is held in the form of regional preliminary rounds and national finals. North China, Northern China, West China, Central and South China, and East China are the five divisions of the competition. The four provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia belong to the Northern China division. This year, 115 works from 26 universities advanced to the Northern division, including those from Northeastern University, Dalian University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, etc.
