On April 26, 2021, the signing ceremony of "School-Enterprise Cooperation Between New Oriental Vision Overseas (Dalian) and the Department of Big Data Management and Application of DNUI" was held in the International Lecture Hall A5-602. The cooperation aims to enhance students’ cross-cultural communication competence and build a new model of international talent cultivation.

The ceremony was attended by Li Yingqiu (Assistant President and Dean of the School of Information and Business Management), Wang Qian (Deputy Dean of the School of Information and Business Management and Director of the Department of Big Data Management and Application), Wang Yanping (Deputy Director of the Department), Chen Feng (General Manager of Dalian New Oriental Vision Overseas Training Center), Sun Jiayang (Product Manager) and Su Qinqin (Operation Manager). Teachers from New Oriental Vision Overseas (Dalian) and all teachers and students from the Department of Big Data Management and Application were present.

Ms. Li Yingqiu delivered a speech at the ceremony. She said that as an innovative university of applied technology, DNUI attaches great importance to the cultivation of international talents, actively broadening international horizons and seeking for more approaches of school-enterprise cooperation. The cooperation with New Oriental Vision Overseas (Dalian) is a beneficial attempt by both parties to explore the model of international talent cultivation.

Chen Feng, general manager of New Oriental Vision Overseas (Dalian), spoke highly of the school-running philosophy and achievements of DNUI. Mr. Chen expressed his expectation for the establishment of an international education platform through the advantageous school-enterprise cooperation. By doing so, DNUI students can have access to more opportunities for training and practice and will be awarded scholarships for outstanding academic performance.

The agreement signing ceremony, the unveiling of the cooperation site and the scholarship handover ceremony were held subsequently. This school-enterprise cooperation will help improve the quality of talent cultivation of the Department of Big Data Management and Application, and promote the output of specialized and international talent cultivation.
