On March 15, the first "Top Ten Science and Technology Progresses and Nominated Projects of Liaoning Higher Education Institutions" organized by Liaoning Provincial Department of Education was announced. Ten science and technology progresses and ten nominated projects including Dalian University of Technology and Northeastern University were selected. Among them, "Key Technology Research and Industrialization of Adaptive Online Learning Platform" led by Prof. Wen Tao, Secretary of Party Committee and President of DNUI, was selected as the nominated project, which is the only private university in the province.

The project "Key Technology Research and Industrialization of Adaptive Online Learning Platform" is led by Prof. Wen Tao and developed by the adaptive online education research team of Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information Technology. The project implements the strategic deployment of "China Education Modernization 2035", based on the national strategic needs of online education and the development needs of Liaoning Province's education informatization to lead education modernization, and focuses on improving the teaching mode of traditional online classes in response to the current pain points of online learning. The project integrates various technologies such as intelligent guide, user portrait and learning blind spot detection, builds a multi-dimensional human-computer interaction interface, develops an adaptive group-based online learning platform based on big data technology and artificial intelligence technology, realizes user-centered learning planning, and helps to realize real teaching and personalized learning according to students' abilities.

The project results not only provide strong technical support and guarantee for the wisdom of online education in Liaoning Province, but also provide 7×24 high-quality, intelligent online teaching services for the whole country and even the world. during the 2020 epidemic, the learning platform not only provided important support for online teaching for three universities of Neusoft Education, but also helped nearly 300 domestic universities to carry out online teaching smoothly, and nearly 100,000 Students realized online learning, which provided a strong guarantee for "stopping classes without stopping learning". It has also provided free online remote skills training for nearly 10,000 employees of more than 300 enterprises, which has been highly praised by enterprises and participants. The self-generated knowledge mapping technology and associative human-computer dialogue technology developed by the project can also be used in other online education platforms, which can strongly promote the technical transformation and upgrading of other online education platforms.
