Recently, according to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on the Announcement of the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors in 2020 (No. 7 [2021]), the major of Electronic Information Engineering of our university was approved as a national first-class undergraduate construction point, and five majors of Internet of Things Engineering, Electronic Commerce, Communication Engineering, Integrated Circuit Design and Integrated Systems, and Film and Television Photography and Production were approved as provincial first-class undergraduate major construction points.

Up to now, there are 4 national first-class undergraduate majors and 10 provincial first-class undergraduate majors in our university. Besides, there are 14 first-class majors covering 4 disciplines of engineering, management, arts and literature, accounting for 40% of the number of undergraduate majors and covering more than 65% of the undergraduate students, which fully highlights that our university has formed a good structure of engineering as the main discipline, with engineering, management, arts and literature supporting each other and developing in a coordinated way.
