According to the latest rankings released by Cuaa.Net, a third-party university evaluation consulting agency, three majors of DNUI, namely Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, and Digital Media Technology have been awarded China Six-star Majors (6★), ranking among Top Majors of China (2020). Another four majors, including Network Engineering, Internet of Things Engineering, Logistics Engineering and Film Photography and Production have been awarded China Five-star Majors (5★), ranking among First-class Majors of China (2020). Among them, five majors rank first among private colleges and universities nationwide, namely Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Digital Media Technology, Logistics Engineering and Film Photography and Production. 26 majors of DNUI are at regional high level and above. The Cuaa.Net rankings include First-class Majors of China 2020, First-class Majors of Private Universities 2020, and Best Majors of China 2020.

First-class Majors of Private Universities 2020 (above 5★)

Since 2015, Cuaa.Net has published rankings of first-class majors in China for 6 consecutive years. The rankings are dependent on five key indicators: academic level, cultivation quality, faculty level, professional level and impact. More than 100 specific indicators are taken into account, including the “First-class Universities and Disciplines of the World” Project, the evaluation results of the Ministry of Education, the first-class undergraduate pilot majors at national and provincial levels, provincial key majors of characteristic, outstanding alumni and outstanding teachers. Among them, universities of cooperative education, private universities and independent colleges are evaluated respectively.
