At the beginning of the New Year in 2020, a sudden COVID-19 outbreak shattered the world's calm. Under the influence of the epidemic, many people's lives and work have been affected. At the beginning of the outbreak in China, our school received condolences from our students currently studying overseas, foreign teachers and partner universities. With the spread of COVID-19 around the world, our school has been concerned about the development of the overseas epidemic and everyone's health and safety and immediately sent letters of condolences. In May 2020, after learning about the shortage of anti-epidemic supplies in some countries, the school actively raised anti-epidemic supplies and successively send CE-certified masks to the Neusoft students participating in overseas study programs, foreign teachers, and some partner universities. Because Russia, Australia and other countries are limited by the interruption of international express logistics, our school have not been able to send supplies. Instead, we coordinated with partner universities to provide support to ease the anxiety of overseas students due to the epidemic via video conferences, WeChat, mail, etc..
At present, the anti-epidemic supplies have been successively sent to them. After receiving the supplies, many partner universities have sent news reports on their school's official websites while sending us thank-you letters. Hokkaido University of Information Technology wrote in a news report, “Since the COVID-19 outbreak, our school has been in contact with Dalian Neusoft University of Information to share information about students' study and life in our university as well as online teaching between the two universities. During the severe period, we were deeply moved by the precious masks and the letter full of encouragement and support sent by President Wen Tao. We will work together to overcome the difficulties and further deepen the cooperation between the two universities."

The news agencies in Jinshan and Fukushima also went to the colleges of Jinshan and Fukushima to interview the donation behavior of our school and reported it in the local newspapers.

Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University said in a thank-you letter, “Under the current shortage of anti-epidemic supplies, your donation has provided great and timely help to create a safe environment for teachers and students of our school."
Through this battle against the epidemic, the trust and friendship between our school and overseas universities have been deepened. Our school students studying in Japan and Japanese foreign teachers also expressed their gratitude via email and WeChat.
The Japanese teacher who received the mask said excitedly, "Thank Dalian Neusoft University of Information for its kind care for the Japanese teachers. We will treasure the hard-won epidemic prevention supplies well." Gao Mingchen, a student currently participating in a study abroad program in Japan, said, "I am grateful for the caring of my Alma Mater, which has added warmth and affection during the epidemic."
During the epidemic, our school provided support and assistance to the teachers, students and partner universities overseas as much as we can, which was full of our concern, confidence and determination to overcome the difficulties together with them.
